DUSHANBE, March 1, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Russian law enforcement authorities have launched an investigation into the murder of Tajik teenager in Moscow.
Mikhail Suvorov, the head of the investigation department at the Koptev inter-district division of the Investigative Directorate for the Moscow Northern Administrative District yesterday met with senior representatives of Tajik migration service agency’s office in Russia and the consular section of the Tajik Embassy in Moscow.
Ibrohim Ahmadov, a spokesman for the Tajik migration service agency’s office in Russia, told Asia-Plus in a telephone interview on March 1 that during the meeting, Suvorov said that their investigation department had launched the investigation into the murder of Tajik 15-year-old teenager Muqimjon Abdughaniyev.
The 9th grade student from Moscow school # 843, Muqimjon Abdughaniyev, was stabbed to death in the evening of February 27. An unknown assailant attacked Muqimjon near the subway station “Petrovsko-Razumovskaya” when he and his two friends were returning home from sports practice. The teenager was stabbed in the stomach and died on the way to hospital.
