DUSHANBE, March 26, Asia-Plus – Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov is expected to visit Tajikistan on March 28, Kazakh media sources report
“After a working visit to Uzbekistan the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Idrisov, will pay an official visit to Tajikistan on March 28,” Altay Abibullayev, an official representative of Kazakhstan President''s Central Communications Service (SCS), was quoted as saying.
Born on April 28, 1959, Yerlan Idrisov is the current Foreign Minister of Republic of Kazakhstan. He previously served as Foreign Minister in the Government of Kazakhstan from 1999−2002. In June 2002 his Foreign Ministership ended. He became the Kazakh ambassador to the United Kingdom. After serving in London, Idrisov assumed the role of Ambassador to the United States in July 2007. In September 2012, Idrisov was appointed Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan again.
