DUSHANBE, August 25, 2011, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon will pay a short visit to the Rasht Valley in eastern Tajikistan tomorrow.
According to the presidential press service, the purpose of the visit is for the head of state to get acquainted with the socioeconomic situation in the area.
Rahmon is expected to visit Rasht and Jirgatol districts. During the visit, the president will attend ceremonies of an official opening of a number of social facilities in Rasht and Jirgatol and address meetings of the regional administrators, the source said.
