DUSHANBE, September 7, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), Mr. Shukurjon Zuhurov, today departed for the Rasht Valley for a two-day visit.
During his stay in the region, the parliament speaker will attend events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence and inaugurate a number of jubilee facilities built in Rasht, Jirgatol, and Tojikobod districts.
Zuhurov will also hold a number of meetings with his voters in the Rasht district, Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said.
