DUSHANBE, December 19, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The president of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has left for Moscow this morning on the summit of heads of the states of the Organization of the Agreement on collective safety and the next session of International Council of State of European Asian Economic Union.
On the given trip the following authorities accompany the president – the of head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RT Hamrohon Zarifi, the state adviser for foreign policy Erkin Rahmatulloev, Minister of economic development and trade Farrukh Hamraliev, the head of the Ministry of Finance Safarali Nadzhmiddinov, Minister of Defence Sherali Hajrulloev, Minister of Justice Bahtiyor Hudoyorov, the assistant to the secretary of Security Council of RT Akram Amonov, the head of Customs service at government of RT Gurez Zaripov, AP was informed in the press-service of the head of the state.
The Presidents of member countries OACS on December 20 will bring up the questions on perfection of activity of the organization in the Kremlin. Heads of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will discuss military, military-technical and information cooperation, questions of reaction to emergency situations, struggle against the drug traffic and terrorism, informs RIA “Novosti”.
In total there are 34 issues on the agenda. According to the assistant of Russian leader Sergey Prikhodko, the issues «don''t carry superimportant or superacuity, but regulate logistical, personnel problems, reflect positions of OACS on some international issues, in particular, on counteraction to calls and the threats proceeding from territory of Afghanistan».
He has noticed that the summit will have practical character. Prikhodko noted that a number of issues of cooperation against the backdrop of increasing the number of tasks and increasing "meaningful and transparent" activities should be directed to a "legal term basis.
It should be noted that at this summit of OACS chairmanship will pass from Belarus to Kazakhstan. It is also planned to accept the statement concerning forthcoming anniversary of OACS. Next year the Organisation will celebrate 10th anniversary, 20 years will be from the moment of signing of the Agreement on collective safety.
