DUSHANBE, December 26, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The final Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) board (Shuro) meeting of the year, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov, was held on December 26.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board considered the draft law on protection of plants and bills requiring amendments to the laws on the national budget for 2011, militsia (police), standardization and licensing system as well as the country’s tax code.
All these issues have been tabled to the agenda of the next sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take place on the following Wednesday, December 28, Sultonov said.
