DUSHANBE, January 5, 2012, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes on January 4.
Rahmonali Rahimov, formerly First Deputy of Agriculture, appointed Chairman of the City of Isfara in Sughd Province, replacing Subhoniddin Ashourov. Subhoniddin Ashourov was transferred to another job.
Khaibullo Latifov, who had previously been Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations (CES), was appointed Deputy Security Council Secretary.
Azimboy Azizov appointed acting Chairman of the Asht District in Sughd Province, replacing Abdujamil Sattorov.
Ms. Rukhsora Karimkhoujayeva was appointed Chairperson of the City of Chkalovsk in Sughd Province, replacing Shavkat Boboyev. Shavkat Boboyev was appointed Head of the Department of Energy and Industries at President’s Executive Office.
Ms. Zulfiya Uzoqova was relieved of her post of Chairperson of the Spitamen District in Sughd Province in connection with transfer to other job.
Amonjon Eshonqulov, formerly First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management, is made Deputy Head of the Department for Humanitarian Cooperation, General Political and Social Problems – Head of the Department for humanitarian Cooperation, Education and Science at the CIS Executive Committee.
Director General of Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) “Khimzavod” (chemical plant) was retired fro age reasons. Dilshod Rasoulov replaced him in this position.
