DUSHANBE, January 10, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament has decided to intensify its work and it will carry out monthly hearings on the implementation of laws by the ministries and committees starting from this month, Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, told Asia-Plus Tuesday afternoon.
According to him, the hearings will be carried out to ensure transparency of activities of public bodies and reveal violation of laws by the ministries and other government bodies.
