On May 7 Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon congratudalted Francois Hollande for having been elected France''s new President.
Tajikistan considers “range of fruitful bilateral cooperation with friendly France” as the most important direction in its foreign policy, Rahmon wrote in his congratulatory telegram.
“It is a pleasure that our mutual efforts contributed to establishment of constructive cooperation between our countries which continues to expand in different spheres of our mutual interest. We believe in good future of many-sided relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Republic of France and hope that our relations will enter a new phase of their development in the period of your governance,” Rahmon said in the telegram said.
