An extra session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization dedicated to the 20th anniversary of signing of the Collective Security Treaty and 10th anniversary of CSTO as well as an informal session of the Council of heads of CIS member states will be held in Moscow on May 15.
Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon is expected to take part in these summits. No bilateral meetings have yet been planned in the frameworks of Tajikistan President’s visit to Moscow, a source in the Government told AP.
Collective Security Council is expected to discuss global and regional threats and consider collective security measures, CSTO press service reports.
Heads of CSTO member states to summarize the results of CSTO activity for 2002-2012 and will discuss priority directions for further development of the Organization. CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha will present his report to the session.
