KHUJAND, November 28, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Acting governor of Sughd province, Abdurahmon Qodiri, held a working meeting on November 27 to discuss the autumn sowing campaign and measures taken to ensure regular work of the province’s economy during autumn-winter 2013-2014.
We will recall that by president’s decree published on November 23 Abdurahmon Qodiri was appointed acting governor of Sughd province, replacing Qohir Rasoulzoda. Qodiri had previously served as first deputy governor of Khatlon Province.
Besides, Rano Bobojonova, formerly head of the Sughd department for family and women’s affairs, was appointed deputy governor of Sughd province and Rustam Ghiyosov was appointed to head the Sughd governor’s office with the consent of the President.
Munavvara Dodoboyeva was appointed to head the Sughd department for family and women’s affairs, replacing Rano Bobojonova.
Davron Hojiboyev was appointed to head the Sughd administrative and legal department, replacing Sodiq Bobojonov.
Administrative and legal department head Sodiq Bobojonov and transport and communications department head Qobiljon Usmonov were retired for age reasons.
