DUSHANBE, December 2, 2013, Asia-Plus – According to the findings of the poll conducted by the Center for Sociological Studies “Zerkalo” among the population, ASIA-Plus has been recognized as the best newspaper in Tajikistan in 2013.
The Ozodagon news agency has been recognized as the discovery of 2013 in Tajikistan, Oila has been recognized as the favorite newspaper of the year, Vatan Radio has been recognized as the best radio station of the year, and Reklamnaya Gazeta has been recognized as the most useful newspaper in Tajikistan this year.
ASIA-Plus’ s editor Olga Tutubalina has been recognized as the correspondent of the year.
580 people, including 30 editors of the country’s leading media sources, have reportedly been surveyed by phone.
ASIA-Plus is the social and political newspaper that has been published since January 2000. Reviewing the results of work of Tajik media outlets in 2000, the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan recognized ASIA-Plus as “the newspaper of the most efficient and authentic news.” In 2001, the newspaper was given the Lohuti Award instituted by the Tajik Journalists’ Union (TJU). Today, the newspaper holds a leading position in the local media market.
