DUSHANBE, December 13, 2013, Asia-Plus -- More than 9,300 Tajik nationals are reportedly barred from returning to Russia for five years for violating Russia’s migration service.
A new information online system containing names of those barred from returning to Russia for five years was installed at Dushanbe International Airport (DIA) in March 2012.
The DIA press center says that Tajik nationals have saved more than 6.5 million U.S. dollars due to this system that was introduced to improve quality of service for passengers.
More than 77,000 Tajik nationals have reportedly used the information online system this year. The information is provided free of charge.
