KULOB, December 23, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A group of entrepreneurs from Khatlon’s Muminobod district yesterday met with Muminobod chairperson Pirmad Zaripov to discuss development of the district. Some 70 entrepreneurs, currently working in Tajikistan and Russia, attended the meeting.
“We have decided to set up the Council for Investment Policy at the Chairperson of the Muminobod District and to draw up the Council’s charter,” Zaripov told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, they agreed to meet in ten days in order to discuss specific proposals and initiatives.
“The entrepreneurs plan to invest in launching small enterprises for processing farm produce, construction of asphalt plant, construction of lyceum and other facilities in the district,” the Muminobod chairperson said, noting that a special attention will be given to the charitable activity.
