DUSHANBE, January 21, 2014, Asia-Plus – Six new social and industrial facilities have been commissioned in the northern city of Isfara this month.
“Shoe factory “Isfara Shoes” with annual capacity to produce 100,000 pairs of shoes, two dried fruit processing enterprises, clothing factory, the first six-story apartment building, and private kindergarten to accommodate 120 children have been commissioned in Isfara this month,” Iqbol Teshayev, a spokesman for the Isfara mayor’s office, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, Isfara produced a total of 195.9 million somoni worth of goods last year, which 32.5 million somoni more than in 2012.
Last year, eleven industrial enterprises were introduced into operation in Isfara, Teshayev added.
