DUSHANBE, January 21, 2014, Asia-Plus – New edition of a draft law on inspection of economic entities has been discussed at a meeting of the Working Group (WG) that has been set up for developing this draft law.
According to the State Committee on Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest), the meeting participants included representatives of Tajik government bodies and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
This law establishes inspection procedures, stipulates the rights and obligations of economic entities and executives of inspection bodies and is aimed at protection of their activities from unlawful interference.
The active law on inspections of economic entities was adopted in 2006 and it has repeatedly been criticized by entrepreneurs.
