DUSHANBE, April 2, 2014, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have signed an agreement on construction of two bridges and automotive roads in border areas between Tajik Sughd province and Kyrgyz Batken region, according to the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan (MoT)
An official source at a MoT says the document was inked by Tajik Minister of Transport Khairullo Asozoda and Kyrgyz Minister of Transport and Communications Kalybek Sultanov on April 1.
The agreement reportedly provides for construction of two bridges across the Gulakandoz Canal and the Kozubaglan River and service roads.
