DUSHANBE, April 22, 2014, Asia-Plus – The award ceremony for the winners of the contest to determine the best district police inspector took place in Dushanbe on April 21.
“The contest was announced in February and a special jury determined the winner,” said Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office. “The contest winner received 15,000 somoni as prize money. The inspector, who took the second place, received 12,000 somoni and the inspector, who took the third place, received 10,000 somoni.”
The district inspector from the police station-2 in the Sino district, Lieutenant-Colonel Murodmad Kalonov, took the first place, the district inspector from the police station in the Shohmansour district, Major Hokim Mahmoudov, took the second place and the district inspector from police station in the Firdavsi district, Senior Lieutenant Saidmohammad Akobirov took the third place.
