DUSHANBE, May 16, 2014, Asia-Plus – Twenty-six countries of the world have provided more than 10.2 million U.S. dollars worth of more than 3,800 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in January-April this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.
Over the report period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value came from the Netherlands – 21.5 percent; Russian Federation – 19.7 percent; the United States – 14.7 percent; China – 12.3 percent; South Korea – 9.9 percent; Denmark – 5.6 percent; Estonia – 3.9 percent; Germany – 3.6 percent; Switzerland – 1.8 percent; Austria – 1.2 percent; Latvia – 1.1 percent; Bulgaria, India and Iran – 0.9 percent each; Turkey – 0.5 percent; Ukraine – 0.2 percent.
