DUSHANBE, June 9, 2014, Asia-Plus – The Interior Ministry traffic police department reports that several streets in downtown Dushanbe will be closed for traffic for several hours during three days in connection with Latvian president’s official visit to Tajikistan.
According to information posted on the Interior Ministry’s website, traffic along the so-called protocol highway Roudaki-Ayni-Donish will be closed on June 9 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
On June 10, the section of the Roudaki Avenue from the Karamov Street to the 800th Anniversary of Moscow Square and the section from the Ismoili Somoni Avenue to the Jalol Ikromi Street and the section from the Tursunzoda Street to the Sherozi Street will be closed for traffic from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.
On June 11, the Roudaki Avenue and the Ayni Street (from the Karamov Street to Airport) and the sections from the Roudaki Avenue to the Sino Avenue and from the Nisori Mohammad Street to the Ayni Street will be closed for traffic from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.
Therefore, the Interior Ministry traffic police department advises public transport drivers to use bypass roads along the Shotemur, Bukhoro and Mastongulov streets.
