DUSHANBE, March 26, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Ambassador to Kuwait Zubaydullo Zubaydov on March 23 met in Kuwait City with Undersecretary for Finance of Kuwait Khalifa Musaed Hamada to discuss cooperation issues.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kuwait in various fields and the Kuwaiti side reportedly showed interest in investing in Tajikistan’s economy.
Mr. Khalifa Musaed Hamada is co-chairman of the Tajik-Kuwaiti intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation.
The first meeting of the Tajik-Kuwaiti intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation was held in Dushanbe in May 2013 and its second meeting is expected to take place in Kuwait City this year.
