DUSHANBE, April 27, 2015, Asia-Plus – As part of his visit to Kuwait, Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidi, yesterday met in Kuwait City with Abdulwahab Al-Bader, Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED).
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed issues related to cooperation between Tajikistan and the Kuwait Fund.
The KFAED top managers reportedly expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Tajikistan in implementing infrastructure development projects in Tajikistan.
On the same day, Zohidi held talks with Mr. Abdullah al-Matouq, an adviser in the Al-Diwan Al-Amiri of the State of Kuwait and Board Chairman of the International Islamic Charitable Organization.
In the course of the talks, Mr. Zohidi and Mr. Al Matouq discussed cooperation between Tajikistan and Kuwait in the humanitarian sphere and Mr. Al Matouq expressed readiness to expand cooperation with Tajikistan’s humanitarian organizations, the Tajik MFA information department said.
