DUSHANBE, July 30, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarabyev will pay an official visit to Tajikistan from September 13-14, a source in the Tajik government told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, Kazakh leader’s visit will result in signing of a number of new cooperation agreements between the two countries.
Rahmon and Nazarbayev will discuss a broad range of issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
They will discuss not only economic, social, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between their countries, but special attention will also be given to the regional security issues, the source said.
Nazarbayev will also participate in a summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) that will take place in the Tajik capital on September 15.
