Dushanbe. 13 August. “Asia Plus”-- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will pay the official visit to Tajikistan in October 2015.
The visit will be conducted within the Central Asian tour of Prime Minister that will also include visits to Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
As “AP” was informed by the source in the government of Tajikistan that the exact date of arrival of S. Abe in Dushanbe is being clarified through the diplomatic channels.
Japanese Prime Minister and the heads of the Central Asian countries will discuss issues related to drug trafficking and terrorism in the region. It is planned to sign a number of documents related to Japanese support to infrastructural projects of the states.
It is to be noted that this will be the first visit of Shinzo Abe to Central Asian countries
The visit of Mr. Abe was planned for August this year but it had to be postponed due to the extension of the sessions of the Japanese Parliament up to the end of September.
