Dushanbe. 25 August. “Asia Plus” -- Closing the central Office Staff of Islamic Renaissance Party (IRP) by the authorities of the Republic is illegal, said the chairman of the Bar Association of Dushanbe Buzurgmehr Yorov.
He said that on Monday at the request of the Prosecutor General of Tajikistan the Economic Court of Dushanbe has suspended the use of the headquarters building of the IRP.
According to Yorov, in the findings of the court is said about the illegal privatization of the headquarters building of the party.
"We`ve met last night with the IRP leadership and explained them that a court order on suspension the use of the headquarters building of the party is illegal. It is possible to sequestrate, in order to prevent the sale of the object till finding out all the circumstances. However, nobody has the right to suspend the use of the building until the cancellation of property rights "- said Yorov.
As reported at the IRP headquarters, the central office of the party is closed within 10 days till the resolution of all the issues. During this period, the party is forbidden to use this building.
The headquarters affirm that the reason for this was an unresolved issue between the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management and the owners of the office building IRP headquarters. The authorities claim that the company "Tijorat", from which the IRP has bought this building, was illegally purchased.
