Dushanbe. 27 August. “Asia Plus” -- In order to study the issues of preparation and holding the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government, scheduled for October this year, on 24 – 25 of August 2015 took place a working visit in Dushanbe of the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Vladimir Garkun.
As reports the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, in the course of the visit B. Garkun met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Jabor Marhabo and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Parviz Davlatzoda, on which in details were discussed the agenda of the upcoming meeting and organizational issues related to the conduction.
B. Garkun has inspected the venue of the meeting, which are planned in the framework of the CIS summit.
Meanwhile, yesterday the permanent plenipotentiary representatives of the Commonwealth member countries have formed the agenda of the Council of CIS Heads of Government meeting that would take place on October 30 in Dushanbe. In the draft agenda of the Dushanbe meeting were included the issues relating to the development of economic cooperation. This, in particular, is the implementation of the agreement on free trade zone, the activities of specialized bodies in the sphere of economy, measures for the implementation of the third stage of the CIS Economic Development Strategy.
Also in the draft agenda of the meeting were included the issues of innovation cooperation, competition in product markets, medical and social assistance to veterans, as well as a large set of documents of a financial nature.
