DUSHANBE, September 14, 2015, Asia-Plus -- A number of new cooperation documents are expected to be signed between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan during Kazakh president’s official visit to Tajikistan.
According to the Tajik MFA, the documents are aimed at further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is arriving in Tajikistan for an official visit today.
During his official visit, Kazakh leader will hold talks with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon and speaker of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament.
According to some sources, Kazakh leader is also expected to visit the city of Tursunzoda to get acquainted with operations of the Tajik aluminum smelter and achievements of Tajik gardeners.
While in Dushanbe, Kazakh leader will also took part in a session of the CSTO Council of Heads of State that will take place in the Tajik capital on September 15.
