On Wednesday April 22, The Developing Markets Associates Limited (DMA), the Tajik-British Chamber of Commerce, British Embassy Dushanbe, in partnership with the Department for International Trade (DIT) and the Department for International Development (DFID), are expected to present the first ever Trade & Investment Forum on Tajikistan.
Supported by both the British and Tajik governments, this invitation-only event will give business its first chance to explore the opportunities of this extraordinary emerging market which saw an economic growth rate of over seven percent in 2019, according to DMA.
A wide-ranging program will provide an economic overview then focus on infrastructure, the energy sector, industrialization, tourism and the extractive industries.
As well as panel discussions, case studies and speeches, there will be opportunities to meet senior figures in UK and Tajikistan government agencies and industry.
At the end of the forum, there will be a gala drinks reception for further networking opportunities for delegates.
