DUSHANBE, October 3, Asia-Plus - Richard Boucher, Assistant U.S. Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, is arriving in Tajikistan tomorrow, October 6.
According presidential press service, Richard Boucher is scheduled to meet with President Emomali Rahmonov Friday afternoon. After that he will hold talks with Foreign Minister Talbak Nazarov.
Boucher intends to discuss with Tajik officials issues related to regional security, post-war reconstruction of Afghanistan’s economy as well as issues concerning bilateral cooperation between the United States and Tajikistan in the fields of trade, economy and protection of border.
