DUSHANBE, September 4, Asia-Plus - A six-day exhibition of products by craftsmen, who are beneficiaries of Iran’s “Imdod” Committee, opened at the “Kokhi Vahdat” State Complex in Dushanbe today.
Tajik Minister of Labor and Social Security, Zokir Vazirov, and visiting Director General of the Imdod Committee, Said Reza Nayeri, attended the exhibition-opening ceremony.
Said Hamid Azimi, the head of the Imdod Committee Tajikistan’s Office, telling an inaugurating ceremony said that the main objective of the exhibition was in showing people in Tajikistan that with the will they might launch their business and through that to improve their living standards. “The Imdod Committee is ready to assist them in this,” Said Hamid Azimi added. He noted that it was the first exhibition of its kind in Central Asia.
More than 400 items of handwork have been put on display in the fair, which runs through September 8.
