DUSHANBE, August 18, Asia-Plus -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov has been given a title of honorable citizen of the Russian city of Sochi, presidential press service reported.
The source says Rahmonov has been given this title for assistance in organization of the Tajik agricultural exhibition in Sochi.
The exhibition that was opened in Sochi on August 16 is finished toady. Tajikistan has put more than 700 tons of its agricultural output, including fruits, vegetables, honey, as well as melons and gourds, on display in the fair in Sochi, which was staged by the Ministry of Agriculture, “Khurokvori” State Unitary Enterprise, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) and “Tojik Matlubot” (Tajik Consumer’s Union) under financial support of the governments of Tajikistan and the Russian region of Krasnodar runs through August 18.
