DUSHANBE, March 15, Asia-Plus -- On April 6, a troupe of the Dushanbe Russian Dramatic Theatre named after Mayakovsky will leave for St. Petersburg to participate in the Seventh International Festival of Russian Theatres of the CIS and Baltics.

The festival entitled “Meetings in Russia” set for April 7-15 is dedicated to the 15 ^th anniversary of the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), according to information from the Russian Mayakovsky Theatre. 

The Dushanbe theatre will submit to the verdict of Russian audience its production of Boris Vasilyev’s “Dawns Are Quiet Here” staged by the theatre’s chief producer Sulton Usmonov. 

A series of seminars conducted by known Russian theatrical critics and creative meetings and other cultural events will be held on sidelines of the festival in St. Petersburg.
