DUSHANBE, April 18, Asia-Plus -- A photo exhibition entitled “Moscow: Ten Years of Development (1997-2007)” has opened at the Tajik National Kamoliddin Behzod Museum in Dushanbe today.
Shahlo Mousoyeva, chairperson of the culture department of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, said that 100 photo works from the Moscow State Historical Museum have been put on display in the exhibition that runs through May 1.
According to her, the exhibition is held as part of cooperation agreement signed between the mayor’s offices of Dushanbe and Moscow on November 29, 1995.
The Ministry of Culture will provide assistance in holding of the exhibition, the spokesman said.
The opening of the exhibition coincided with International Day for Monuments and Sites, which is marked today.
