DUSHNBE, March 18, Asia-Plus -- An exhibition of works by Tajik painters entitled “Navrouz-2008” opened at the Tajik Painters’ Union in Dushanbe today.
According to the Tajik Painters’ Unions, some 100 works by Tajik painters have been put on display in the exhibition. “Visitors will see painting works, decorative and applied arts as well as carving, embroidery and ceramic wares,” the source said.
Children’s patchwork wares manufactured by known Tajik female artist Tatiana Cheremyokhina have also been put on display in the exhibition that lasts through April.
