KHUJAND, April 20, 2010, Asia-Plus - An exhibition of works by young painters from Sughd province dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was held at Khujand State University on April 20.
More than 100 young painters participated in the exhibition that was held under the motto “No One Is Forgotten, Nothing Is Forgotten.”
The exhibition was organized with support from the Institute for Eurasian Studies Development Foundation and the Sughd regional administration.
Established in May 2005, the Institute for Eurasian Studies Development Foundation opened its first representative office in Tajikistan. It was opened in Khujand, Sughd province in June 2009. Today, the Foundation affiliates operate in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Abkhazia as well.
