DUSHANBE, September 8, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Days of Culture of Turkmenistan are expected to take place in Tajikistan from September 21 to September 25 this year, according to the Ministry of Culture (MoC).
The source at a MoC says this issue was discussed at a meeting of Tajik Minister of Culture Mirzoshorukh Asrori with Turkmen Ambassador to Tajikistan Nokerguly Ataguliyev on September 7.
In the course of the talks, Tajik minister noted that a special commission would be set up for holding the event at proper level.
Exhibitions of works by Turkmen painters and handicraftsmen as well as concert programs will be organized on sidelines of the event. During their stay in Tajikistan, Turkmen guests will also visit Hissar, Jilikul and Varzob districts.
They will also visit the National Museum of Antiquities, Academy of Sciences and the Gurminj Museum of Musical Instruments in Dushanbe.
