DUSHANBE, May 5, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Known Tajik painter Suhrob Qurbonov has been given a title of Honorary Professor at Shanghai University.
People’s Artist of Tajikistan Suhrob Qurbonov, who is also threefold winner of the Roudaki Award, was conferred honorary professorship by Shanghai University on the sidelines of the exhibition of works by painters from the member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) that is currently being held in China.
The Tajik MFA information department says the exhibition is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of founding of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization that will be marked on June 10 this year.
