DUSHANBE, September 20, 2011, Asia-Plus -- A festival for people with disabilities, entitled “Ganji Nuhufta” (Undisclosed Treasure), is going on in Tajikistan.
The festival consists of three stages – district, regional and republican. “The final republican stage of the festival will take lace on November 4,” the festival director Fakhriddin Yusufzoda said.
According to him, the main objective of the festival is in revealing undisclosed talents of people with disabilities. “The festival participants are taking part in seven nominations, including singing songs, reciting verses, dancing, humorous sketch, and so on,” Yusufzoda noted.
The festival is organized by the ministry of labor and social protection, the ministry of culture and public associations of people with disabilities
