DUSHANBE, November 27, 2014, Asia-Plus – A group of Latvian musicians, Baraka (Baraka means blessing in Arabic and Arabic-influenced languages), will give a concert in Moscow on November 30.
The leader of the band Baraka, Dmitry Yevsikov, says the concert is organized under support of the Tajik Embassy in Moscow.
They will perform songs from repertoires from known Tajik singers such as Nargis Bandishoyeva, Muboraksho Mirzoshoyev and Khurmo Shirinova.
This band playing ethno-jazz and fusion music gave concerts gave concerts in Dushanbe and the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) last year, performing popular songs in Tajik.
