DUSHANBE, December 4, 2014, Asia-Plus – A marble bust of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will be handed over to the National Museum of Tajikistan, Olimkhon Rabiyev, the head of the Arts Fund of Tajikistan, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, a 40-cenitmeter marble bust of Emomali Rahmon was made by Tajik sculptor Alijon Bobosharipov.
“We want to hand over this bust of the National Hero of Tajikistan to the National Museum of Tajikistan so that it would be placed in the Museum’s special hall where gifts given to the president are kept,” Rabiyev said, adding that the Arts Fund takes orders for making president’s busts.
