KULOB, January 19, Asia-Plus -- The most prestigious and profitable job in Kulob is considered working with finance-credit institutions, according to the source in the local authorities.
The Asia-Plus interlocutor says an average monthly wage in this sector was 218 Somonis for the period from January to November 2005. “In 2005, an average monthly wage in the construction sector was 198 Somonis, in the industrial sector – 129.4 Somonis, and an average monthly revenue of private entrepreneurs was 132 Somonis,” the source said. The lowest salaries were of medical workers and teachers – on average 40 Somonis and 65 Somonis respectively, according to him.
Meantime, an average monthly wage for the city and the district of Kulob over the first eleven months of 2005 had been 59 Somonis and 89 Somonis respectively.
