Committee for Religious Affairs prepares necessary literature on history of Islam for secondary schools

, January 27, Asia-Plus - “The Committee for Religious Affairs has prepared necessary literature on history of Islam and will submit it for consideration to the government soon,” the Committee deputy head Tohir Rashidov remarked at a news conference in
Dushanbe
on January 27.
According to him, this literature is dedicated to make schoolchildren better informed of Islam and its traditions.
“It is better if teenagers become familiar with Islam and its basic doctrines in school than at any crude mullah,” Tohir Rashidov said.
