KULOB, May 5, Asia-Plus - On occasion of a Victory Day, 168 veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and three spouses of the servicemen who died in that war living in the city and the district of Kulob will receive extraordinary grant of 200 Somonis each, according to information from the Kulob mayor’s office.
Askar Demponayev, head of the section for socio-cultural institutions within the Kulob mayor’s office, has told Asia-Plus that 34,200 Somonis were provided from the local budget for these purposes.
Victory Day festivities will be held in Kulob on May 9. The events to mark the Victory Day will be held in all organizations and institutions of the city.
