DUSHANBE , May 17, Asia-Plus - The Indian Embassy in Dushanbe today morning handed over a bulk of medicines to Tajikistan ’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).  These medicines are intended for providing first medical aid in case of emergencies.   

According to information from the Indian Embassy in Dushanbe , the medicines have been provided by the “Pharmacy India ” company (Indian Council to Support Export of Medicinal Preparations).  

The assistance – 885 kilograms – included preparations against flu, chill, and stomachic-intestinal diseases, which are frequently occurring in case of avalanches, mudflows and other emergencies, the source said.
