DUSHANBE, March 3, Asia-Plus -- 60 servicemen from Russian military base deployed in Tajikistan have received apartments in a new residential building constructed within the compound of the base in Dushanbe, Asia-Plus has learned from Pavel Konev, an aid to the base commander.
According to him, an official opening of the building was held on March 1. “It is already the third residential building constructed in Tajikistan over the past two years,” the aid said.
Speaking at the ceremony, the base commander, Major-General Aleksei Zavizyon, noted that housing program was “one of the most important national projects being implemented both in the territory of Russia and outside it where Russian servicemen serve.”
