DUSHANBE, March 6, Asia-Plus -- An official opening of a computer center at a dormitory for orphan girls, which is under jurisdiction of the Committee for Family and Women’s Affairs, will be held in Dushanbe on the eve of International Women’s Day.
Ms. Rukhshona Najmiddinova, Senior Public Relations Assistant at the OSCE Center in Dushanbe, said that the computer center is equipped under support of the OCE Center, and opening of the computer center is part of the OSCE strategy aimed at supporting Tajik government’s efforts to implement the national program for providing men and women with equal opportunities.
The OSCE Center in Dushanbe supports a variety of awareness-raising and educational activities to promote gender equality in the country.
