DUSHANBE, March 28, Asia-Plus -- Water supplies to some streets and blocks in Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni, Shohmansour and Sino districts will be cut off for two days -- from Friday, 10:00 p.m. to Sunday, 10:00 p.m.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that water supplies will be cut off to those areas, which receive water from the pump station Samotyochnaya.
According to him, the mayor passed a special resolution approving a plan of actions for Dushanbe’s municipal waterworks (Dushanbevodokanal or DVK), which is implemented in accordance with the DWS028 agreement for implementation of the Dushanbe water supply project.
Administrations of Ismoili Somoi, Shohmansour and Sino districts are to take adequate measures to provide the population with water during the mentioned period, the spokesman said.
