DUSHANBE, February 11, 2009, Asia-Plus -- By ruling handed down by Dushanbe economic court on February 3 DilFon’s operating license was revoked.
Closed joint-stock company (CJSC) DilFon was licensed to provide cellular communications services in the GSM 1800 standard, telematics services (except IP-telephony). The company received the licenses in 2006.
Ruling on revoking DilFon’s licenses was handed down following application by the Communications Regulatory Agency (CRA) within the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC).
The source at a CRA said that although DilFon received the licenses in October 2006 already it has not begun operation.
