DUSHANBE, June 30, 2009, Asia-Plus -- By resolution adopted by the Dushanbe city legislature on June 30 Dzerzhinsky Street is renamed Jalol Ikromi Street.

The resolution was adopted to immortalize known Tajik writer Jalol Ikromi.

The resolution also obligates administration of Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district to make a list of residents of the renamed street.
