The ministry of healthcare and medical industry of Turkmenistan will conclude a contract with MRK Energy DMCC, a subsidiary of ITERA international group of companies, for the purchase of 400 UAZ 39629-016 ambulances totaling US $ 8 million.
As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent was told in the press service of the head of state, Turkmen president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a relevant decree "for the purpose of improving the quality of medical service to the rural population".
According to the document the cars are to be supplied by May 30, 2009.
